I Love Good Customer Service

Hey there Bloggers,
So I work in a customer service industry, and to me, customer service either makes or breaks a company.
I recently subscribed to Birchbox, and let me tell you I am floored by their level of customer service.

In the June box I was supposed to get a LAQA & CO. Lil' Lip lip crayon.  I checked early to see what was going to be in my box, and I thought hey! how neat!  The big day arrives, the box finally gets delivered, and no lip crayon in sight.  Bummer.  So I decided to see what would happen if I e-mailed the customer service team at Birchbox and told them my dilemma.  Within 24 hours I got a response saying they were looking into it, and in under a week (I keep forgetting I have two different e-mail addresses to check) I had confirmation I was going to receive one in the mail.
No Way!
Yes Way!
I got the little baby lip crayon today in the brightest fuscia pink shade that I love and I couldn't be happier.
I am so impressed with how polite they were, and that they were prompt in responding to my request.
Super happy.
Super excited to try out my new lip crayon.
Super excited I got a haircut and bought a bunch of stuff from Sephora and Lush (did not know we had one in the mall down here!) which will be reviewed and posted on hopefully sooner than later!

Much love and laughs

Guest Post: More reviews!

Here are the items I use daily and love!

Victoria's Secret Bronzer in Goddess: First thing: I'm a bronze addict! I've had this item for almost a year now and I've hardly made a dent in it. For my fair skin tone, I don't need a lot for a nice summery glow all year round (it helps to blend out my red cheeks that I've inherited from both of my parents). I use an Ecotools Blush Brush to apply it and if I've accidentally applied too much, I use a Sigma Powder Brush. The Sigma brush is so big, it just softens bronzer nicely.

Victoria's Secret Love Spell Perfume: I was on the hunt for a new perfume a few months ago because I ran out of my favorited Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy and didn't want to buy another bottle of it so I eventually ended up at Victoria's Secret and rediscovered Love Spell. The description says it's a blend of Cherry Blossom and Juicy Peach but as long as it smells fruity, I'm happy! It's really light too and as the day goes on, it slowly fades away but still can be smelled on clothes. I think it's $12 per 1oz bottle, so the price is reasonable.

Newly acquired:

Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Original Leave-in Moisturizer: I absolutely love this! A few days ago, I went to the Adirondacks and when I got home, I thought I had poison ivy and immediately had to shower to get any possible oils off my skin. I quickly shampooed my hair but was in such a rush that I conveniently forgot to use conditioner, of course. My hair was so dry (I bleached it last week to lighten my hair from black to brown) and I was feeling the damage. I put a quarter size amount of this in my hair and combed it through and voila! It was nice and silky and put some moisture back into my hair. And it smells good too!

Charlotte Ronson's a perfect mess: I am in LOVE with beach sprays! I think I must have fifteen different kinds and there's no end in sight! This was on sale at Sephora and I saw it last minute, put it back then picked it back up again. And it smells terrible! But once it's on your hair, surprisingly, the smell disappears, which makes me so grateful that my money wasn't wasted. Too many sprays of this makes your hair look like it's too wet or a little greasy but the perfect amount makes my hair nice and beachy wavy. If you can get past the smell, it's worth it!

Until next time,
Tay.

Lemon Bubbles

When it comes to exfoliating my face, I recently have started to branch out a little.  For the past three years it's been solely St Ives Apricot Scrub and nothing or no person could make me budge on the subject.  Since moving down South it has become apparent to me that things in my life needed to change.  Majorly my skincare routine (or lack thereof).  Enter in this super sweet citrus smelling joy:

Look at the bubbles!
Suki Exfoliating Facial Cleanser! A 4 oz tub sells for $32.95 at Birchbox.com.  It has sugar crystals in it which melt as you start to rub this into your skin (soft exfoliation?).  While it lathers, it's not overwhelming but it is noticable.  I am a fan of a bubble beard when I wash my face so while I wasn't swimming in bubbles, this made me one happy lady,  It smells like summer and lemons which I absolutely love about this product. (even the boy was impressed)  Definitely a repurchase, definite recommendation.

Has anyone else tried this product? If so let me know what you thought about it :)

Love and laughs,
Care
